Hume Fogg Boys Basketball Managers Wanted!!!!


The Hume Fogg Boys Basketball Team is looking for 2 Managers for the 2022 basketball season.

Manager duties listed below:

· Attend all practices after school , 3:30-6:00pm.

· Record practice and games, download to Huddle

· Assist in setting up for games and post game equipment

· Post statistics and news articles on facebook, twitter,Instagram, etc..

· Wash uniforms on Mondays and Wednesdays

· Run scoreboard in practice, be available for Jv and Varsity games to run the clock.

· Accurate records keeping stats on the bench

Meet Our Coaching Staff

Head Varsity Coach – Barry Mangrum

Barry Mangrum brings 30 years of teaching experience in Wellness, Physical Education, and Personal Finance. Undergraduate degree from Austin Peay State University, Masters in Education from Trevecca University, and a Masters in Education plus 45 at Cumberland University. Coach Mangrum has been a Head Varsity Basketball for 28 years in the middle Tennessee area, with 6 District Championships, 2 Sub-State Championships, 2 Regional Championships, and 2 State appearances. Coach Mangrum has coached High School Volleyball 12 years, Men and Women's Golf 6 years, High School Cross Country 6 years, and Dean of Basketball Operations 5 years. Coach Mangrum’s guidance over the years has produced many college athletes in the NCAA division I,II,III, and NAIA levels.

Coach Mangrum lives with his wife Cynthia in Pegram, Tennessee.

 

Coach Morgan Campbell

Coach Coop is a graduate of Gallatin High School where he earned Basketball All County in 2011. The team was District Champions in 2010, and Coach Campbell was District MVP Point Guard in 2011. In 2011 and 2012, Coach Campbell was starting point guard at Volunteer State Community College. Coach Campbell went on to coach for Volunteer State for the 20-21 and 21-22 seasons. Coach Campbell is a business owner, a personal trainer, and a great addition to the Hume-Fogg family!

 

 

Coach Dansby

 Shane Dansby grew up in Pegram Tn. Coach Dansby played his high school basketball at Harpeth High School. During his time at Harpeth, he was a member of the All-State team, All Region, and District MVP.
After high school Shane went on to play college basketball at Murray State. He stayed there a year before transferring to Belmont University. While at Belmont, Shane was a part of 3 regular season championships, as well as 3 tournament championships. Shane won several awards during his time at Belmont including, all-tournament team, two player of the week awards for the Atlantic Sun Conference, and a Tournament MVP award!! Shane graduated from Belmont in 2008.
Shane has coached and trained many kids since graduating from Belmont!!
