On Monday, May 3rd, surrounded by close family and friends, Hume-Fogg senior Joia Robertson signed a letter of intent to play for the Fisk University golf team. Joia has been a competitor on the Hume-Fogg golf team coached by Angela Hubbard for the past four years and is a two-time District golf tournament champion. During the official signing, Fisk golf coach Robert Moore stated that he is very glad to have Joia join the Fisk Bulldogs family. Joia is excited to continue her education and pursue her degree at Fisk University in the fall and compete on the collegiate level in golf. Fisk University is a private Historically Black College and University (HBCU) founded in 1866 and located in Nashville, TN. The athletics program is part of the NAIA Division I level and competes as part of the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference.
